As of February 2024, Nathan has joined the Board of Trustees for the Presteigne Festival of Music and the Arts. The Board of Trustees plays a pivotal role in steering the festival towards continued excellence and innovation in the arts for both the local area and Wales more broadly.

Following an invitation from George Vass ARAM (Artistic Director) and Clive Lane (Chair), Nathan joins the Board to support the continued world-class work of the festival, and to support the festival’s ongoing commissioning mandate and new music opportunities.

What is the Presteigne Festival?

Established over 40 years ago in the former county town of Radnorshire, the Presteigne Festival has become a focal-point for those seeking musical innovation and artistic discovery amidst the beauty of the Welsh Marches.

Internationally renowned for its commissioning of new work, support of living composers and with a long tradition for the encouragement of talented young artists, the organisation works closely with composers and performers to create and curate inspiring events for an ever-widening Festival audience and brings experience-broadening opportunities to its host community.

The Presteigne Festival takes place each August, with several music-filled days spanning the Bank Holiday weekend. Well-known for presenting a carefully balanced combination of new music, twentieth-century classics and masterpieces from the standard repertoire, the Festival also continues to develop a wide-ranging programme of supporting events which features film, literature and exhibitions presented in association with the Sidney Nolan Trust and the popular Presteigne 'Open Studios' weekend.
